As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for engaging employees in the functions of production, coordinating activities in expediting the flow of material, parts, and assemblies between areas of production.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

As the Production Team Leader, you will:

Manage the assigned area ensuring that safety, quality, production, cost control and & continuous improvement objectives are met while providing technical support and training to employees working in the assigned production areas.Oversee and implement Lean initiatives in the responsible areas.Ensure that all material used in the assembly of a job is appropriately charged to the correct jobFoster and build strong relationships within workforce in assigned areaMaintains a clean and well-organized work area at all times.Reviews daily shortage reports and provides feedback to the supervisor on potential upcoming parts shortagesFills in for production as needed in assembly processProvides cross functionality & helps handling the other product coordinator’s tasksCommunicating weekly reviews with the supervisorPerforms other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years manufacturing or supervision work experience.

Desired Characteristics

PC knowledge requiredCommunication and organizational skillsProduct KnowledgePrevious leadership/supervisor experienceExperience training in Lead Six Sigma concepts
