Production Systems Analyst

Job Description:

As a Production Systems Analyst you will help make sure the information in our manufacturing system (MES) is correct and up to date. You will be responsible for entering and confirming part, order, and manufacturing data. This role involves looking at production orders and part details to figure out how things are built, then set that information up in our system so production can run smoothly. You will also help create better ways to enter and track this information, working closely with engineering, production, and materials teams. Your work will help to make sure that parts flow correctly and that the data we use to run the facility is accurate and easy to understand.

Primary Responsibilities:

Review physical production work orders and drawings, and digital program data for accuracy and consistency.Identify and add necessary manufacturing process data into the MES system to ensure proper routing and tracking, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data entry.Conduct inventory control (IC) audits and cycle counts on WIP inventory, as directed.Perform MES process audits and implement corrections.Work closely with engineering, production, and materials teams to help deliver new MES systems and improve existing ones.Provide hands-on and verbal training to coworkers as needed on system functionality, such as how to use developed applications.Support process improvements related to data entry and documentation accuracy.Ensure compliance with Company data management policies and confidentiality standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support production and engineering.Take on additional duties and assist where needed, as directed.

Required Skills:

Familiarity with data entry and tracking systems.Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in data and documentation.Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Ability to communicate clearly and work well with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in data or documentation.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, with the ability to understand and define the steps required to fully manufacture a part.Understanding of common manufacturing processes and terminology in relation to data management.Willingness to learn new systems and processes as needed.Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with others.

Required Education/Experience:

Must have high school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with exposure to data entry and process documentationAbility to interpret and manage production work order documentation accurately

Preferred:

Associate’s degree in a related field (e.g., Manufacturing, Business, Data Management).Experience supporting manufacturing processes or production teams with documentation, reporting, or data tracking.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain in stationary position or standing position for prolonged periods and alternate betweenAbility to repeat gross or fine manipulation that may include the use of wrists, hands, and/or fingers.Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including, but not limited to, safety glasses, steel-toed or metatarsal-guarded shoes, and/or ear plugs, while working in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment. Ability to constantly communicate with others to exchange information in person, via phone, or via ucomputer.Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds in weight in all directions.Ability to occasionally reach overhead or at or below shoulder level.Ability to occasionally stoop, crouch, or kneel.
