 ABOUT THE ROLE: As Production Support Operative, you’ll be working as part of an integrated team, to support, coach and communicate SAP and other McCain systems to ensure best practice and standardisation is achieved across all shifts. The job also includes…

 •    Working to the Company’s hygiene, quality, and safety standards
•    Daily monitoring of SAP, including PO’s, stock, rework, sanitation, and labour
•    Issuing oil and potatoes, and closing PO’s
•    Generating the cost statement and reporting back losses/gains to the SLT
•    Building relationships between departments
•    Training out best practice across shift
•    Assist with the generation of weekly/monthly business reports

 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR… You’ll have previous experience of working within a factory environment, as well as experience of basic food hygiene knowledge. We’re also looking for people with experience of…

WHERE WILL I WORK…You’ll be based at our Scarborough plant in North Yorkshire. We opened this plant back in the swinging sixties, but it’s definitely not stuck in the past. It’s one of the largest French fry factories in the world and after a recent development, it’s also one of the most high tech. Our team of over 300 colleagues work hard to make sure the quality of our products keep our customers returning for more, for now and years to come!We also know you’ll want to know what you’ll be working. Our shifts are typically 12-hours, working 2 days on (7am-7pm), 1 day off, 2 nights on (7pm-7am), 3 days off.
