Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Production Support Engineer to join their team. As a Production Support Engineer, you will be part of the Technical Support department supporting critical production environments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Production Support Engineer
**Location:** Charlotte, NC
**Duration:** 12 Months Contract
**What's the Job?**
+ Act as a subject matter expert (SME) focused on the stability and resiliency of externally hosted services integrated with the organization's environment.
+ Liaise with business, technical organizations, and vendors to provide consultation services following ITSM/ITIL framework processes.
+ Review incidents encountered with externally hosted services to address system resiliency and availability.
+ Facilitate daily video/teleconference meetings to determine the root cause of vendor service problems.
+ Analyze and report trends, identifying non-functional and business risks associated with vendor service availability and stability.
**What's Needed?**
+ 3-5 years of related experience in production support or technical support roles.
+ Strong knowledge and experience with ITIL/ITSM Incident, Problem, and Change Management Processes.
+ Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
+ Hands-on experience with BMC Remedy and ServiceNow.
+ Functional familiarity with reporting tools such as Microstrategy and Tableau.
