Location: Charlotte, NC **Job Summary** We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Production L2 Support Engineer to join our team supporting credit ratings and research applications. This role involves ensuring 24/7 availability of business-critical applications, managing incident resolution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain operational excellence. **Responsibilities** + Strong experience in production support and incident management. + Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting tools: Splunk, SQL Server, DataDog, AppDynamics, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch. + Excellent communication and coordination skills for client interactions and cross-functional collaboration. + Experience in release management and infrastructure performance analysis. + Investigate S5 incidents (single-user issues) using tools like Splunk, SQL Server, DataDog, AppDynamics, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch. + Analyze application usage trends and set alerts for infrastructure metrics (CPU, memory, garbage collection). + Collaborate with development teams to onboard new applications into production support. + Create onboarding documentation, define technical skill requirements, and build a comprehensive knowledge base. + Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for newly onboarded applications. \#LI-SM1 Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until July 17th 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $90k- 95K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
