We are looking for a Production Support Associate to join our Group and support our teams in driving World Class Excellence within our Temperature and Systems Production Center. Within TS+P, we utilize state-of-the-art production techniques and manufacturing technologies to ensure the quality of the instrumentation produced, as well as the safety of employees and the environment. 

 

What is the role about?  
This person performs routine assembly operations of a repetitive nature on mechanical and/or electronic components and sub-assemblies in the production line. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Uses various hand and power tools to perform the work. Ensures quality of products throughout the process.  Works under immediate supervision.  Primary functions do not typically require exercising free judgment.


 
Which tasks will you perform?  
You will: 

Assemble devices (mechanical and/or electronic) to form complete unit or subassembly at appropriate location, including programming transmitters and using laserFabricate sub-components as needed using various tools and machinesPerform visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operationConduct calibration for devices as neededMaintain accurate inventory and notify supervisor of adjustments or scrapPerform regular preventative maintenance on machines and tools required to accomplish daily tasksParticipate and assist with cross training employees on production processes where applicable  Maintain a neat and orderly work area in conjunction with 5S Lean conceptsUse SAP and ABAKUS software systems to look up or enter informationAdhere to the safety guidelines for the work areaAssist and maintain ISO procedures and documents that apply to position  Determine the correct pack to use for each device Pack devices ensuring no damage during shipment  Perform all functions to ensure highest quality and value of delivery to the customer
