Responsibilities:
Strict adherence to Company Safety Policies and regulations
Managing employees by instructing, training, coaching, organizing and monitoring the daily activities associated with operations to assure the accurate and efficient processing of orders.
Assigning, planning, monitoring and problem solving of production processes to meet efficiencies; attending meetings and providing feedback to management team.
Ensuring that documentation for Quality Performance Systems is maintained.
Communicating and co-operating with other departments
Monitoring of daily attendance and vacation schedules.
Filling in and replacing where needed due to production needs as well as absenteeism.
Accountabilities:
Responsible for the safety and well-being of staff.
Meeting production deadlines and schedules
Maintain assigned equipment and work area in accordance with procedures and standards
Monitor systematic objective key results (OKRs) and help with continuous improvement on said findings.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Mechanical diploma preferred; or equivalent mix of skills and experience

High School

4-7 years
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; at least two years in a supervisory capacity
Minimum 2 years experience with tong maintenance, building, testing, and/or operating
Minimum 2 years experience in mechanics, hydraulic and electrical controls
Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
Experience in managing personnel an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Must be able to handle complex tasks
Ability to adapt to change
Ability to work as part of a team
Willing to handle other assigned tasks
