Primary purpose:
The Yates Production Supervisor leads the Yates Production team and reports to the Yates Production Manager. This position is responsible for producing the Yates Field safely and to its maximum potential by optimizing and maintaining producing wells, gathering systems, central batteries, pumping units and various other surface equipment. This position has 14 field operators as direct reports.

Proven track record in managing oil and gas operations in a safe and efficient mannerKnowledge of CO2 EOR operationsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to represent Yates field operations to the broader Yates Leadership team (reservoir engineering, accounting, commercial groups, etc...)Ability to instill a strong safety culture in new and less-experienced employeesAble to work in a fast-paced environment, frequently under pressure, on multiple tasksExperience in Microsoft applications and well versed in making/generating presentationsProficiency with KM management systemsMust be able to work with a team, take direction from Management, keep required work schedules, focus attention on detailsRequired to carry a company provided cell phone, and be available to respond during working and non-working hoursStrong background in safe work practices and active participation in safety programSelf-starter and high drive for resultsAbility to handle multiple tasksStrong prioritization and planning skills
Physical demands:
Extended hours during upset conditionsWork outside in all weather conditions as neededLive within a 30 min response time to the field (Iraan, Sheffield, McCamey or Rankin)
Working conditions:
Subject to extended hours, callout and holidays Preferred education, experience, certifications, competencies, skills, and abilities:Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:Associate’s degree or technical school training
