Compensation:
Pay range is $71,300.00 to $118,800.00Production Supervisor (Nights)
Available Shift: Nights 6:00pm - 7:00am 2,2,3 Schedule with every other weekend off

This position covers the night shift (7 pm - 7 am) and has a 2 day on / 2 day off schedule as well as every other weekend on.
Job Duties:
Manage, direct and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining qualityTypically supervises 90 plus employeesCoordinate with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achievedCarry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring & training employeesPlanning, assigning & directing workAppraising performanceRewarding & disciplining employeesAddressing complaints & resolving problemsEnsure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basisSupport & improve upon Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goalsEnsures safety programs are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly and revised as necessaryDaily time and attendance completionCommunicates regularly to manager per escalation plan requirements QualificationsJob Qualifications:
BA/BS degree preferred (business, engineering)2+ years of manufacturing experienceDirect supervisory experience highly preferredStrong verbal & interpersonal communication skillsProven ability to work well in group situationsProven ability to de-escalate situations as neededAbility to deal effectively with conflict in a mature & consistent mannerGood computer skillsSAP experience preferredPactiv Evergreen is now a part of Novolex. Located 30 miles north of Charlotte, Mooresville is a large town located in south western section of Iredell County, North Carolina, and is a part of the fast-growing Charlotte Metro area.
The plant was built in 1996, manufactures cups, lids, and trays, and has approximately 700 employees. This plant was also awarded the Safety Plant of the Year and Food Service Manufacturer of the Year Award.
