Production Supervisor (m/f/d) – Miniature Circuit Breaker MCB Production

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit of Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently. 
  
You will be mainly accountable for: 

Management of a production area in MCB production and leadership of approximately 30 employees 

Implementation of capacity planning and optimization of resources 

Identification of optimization potential in production processes and facilities 

Management of CIP projects and workshops 

Ensuring production processes through leadership, organization, and recruitment of employees in collaboration with the HR department 

Guiding and motivating team members and developing potential 

Qualifications for the role

Production supervisor, technician, or comparable further training in a technical environment 

Several years of experience in production or production-related areas 

Experience in leading teams in production 

Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes and highly automated production lines 

Proven experience with CIP projects and lean management (e.g., KAIZEN, Lean Six Sigma) 

Good knowledge of health and safety, as well as quality standards and quality requirements (ISO 9000-9004) 

Quick comprehension and resilience combined with strong teamwork skills 

Fluent written and spoken German, good English skills 

Willingness to work early and late shifts, including Saturdays 

High degree of empathy and assertiveness
