Production Supervisor - Gold Canyon Meat Co.

Working hours are expected to be: Sunday - Thursday with a 12pm start!

Salary is expected to be $65k - $75k DOE PLUS a 10% Annual Bonus! 

\n

 

\n

The Production Supervisor will be required to lead plant associates in all phases of the production process and to ensure the facility meets key objectives in safety, quality, loss control, productivity and cleanliness. They will be required to take an active role in identifying and overseeing process improvement initiatives and will have day-to-day responsibility to ensure compliance to company, customer and agency regulations.

\n

Essential Duties:

\n\nProvide shift leadership to meet daily and weekly goals.\nEnsure complete compliance to Shamrock’s, Shamrock’s Customers, Federal, State and Local requirements.\nUpdate and develop training materials as necessitated also provide on-going training of plant associates\nRegularly meet with plant associates to provide constructive coaching and perform reviews\nWork with plant associates to identify opportunities for improvement and then take the lead to oversee completion of corrective action plans.\nHave sufficient understanding of plant processes and resources to re-direct these when required.\nEnsure product quality and customer specifications are met.\nWork to accomplish “Zero Waste” objective.\nEnsure associate and visitor safety.\nOther duties may be assigned.\n\n

Qualifications:

\n\n3+ years of related experience\nBachelor’s degree from four-year College or University preferred\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively present information \nMust be available to work with the demands of the department which are regular overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays\nMust be able to work in various temperature-controlled zones ranging from cold to hot \n\n

Physical Demands:

\n\nRequired stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. \nOccasionally sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. \nRegularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. \nFrequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds \nOccasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.\n\n
