Responsibilities: + Oversee daily operations of Assembly department and personnel + Direct assembly shop resources and operations + Daily planning responsibilities to meet customer ship dates + Time and attendance verification for shop team + Requisition supplies as needed + Evaluate need for capital investments, develop payback analysis and submit necessary forms + Notify maintenance of issues and submit work orders + Perform daily operations in ERP system + Ability to evaluate various forms of data, systems and processes in order to make sound decisions + Read blueprints and understand process routings, workflows and scheduling + Develop fixturing + Effectively manage employee performance and disciplinary actions + Develop actions to improve productivity and cycle times + Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications: + Previous experience in an industrial environment; previous supervisory experience strongly preferred + Associate’s Degree in an Engineering or related field preferred + Ability to read & interpret shop drawings + Proficiency in MS Office + Strong mechanical aptitude All requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
