Your Role:
In this role you will oversee multiple manufacturing operations and manage a team of 30–35 employees on a rotating schedule. Responsible for coordinating union team overtime and vacation scheduling, prioritize off-shift maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Promote safety in the workplace and investigate safety related issues.Ensure manufacturing teams follow written procedures.Create daily reports for managerial review.Implement and document disciplinary action for failure to follow safety, manufacturing, and quality standards.Act as Incident Commander in a facility emergency.Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) and cost savings initiatives.Support Transportation Planning, and Supply Chain by inspecting bulk fleet, SAP data entry, and ensuring on time delivery.Support stable operations, quality initiatives and investigate quality complaints.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.5+ years of experience in a chemical or manufacturing environment.1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office or similar computer applications.1+ years of experience following OSHA safety work practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree.Chemical manufacturing experience.Prior leadership or supervisory experience.Strong organizational and communication skills.Incident Command structure understanding and experience.Proficiency in Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s).
