Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Salt Lake City, United States. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production operations, ensure quality standards are met, and lead a team of production workers to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.

Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to meet quality and quantity targetsDevelop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and equipmentMonitor production processes and adjust workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtimeEnsure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environmentTrain, mentor, and evaluate production team members to improve performance and productivityCollaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and implement process improvementsAnalyze production data and prepare reports for upper managementImplement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet specificationsManage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to ensure timely availability of materialsTroubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance activities as needed

Qualifications

 

3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production supervisionStrong knowledge of quality control processes and safety regulationsExcellent team leadership and management skillsAdvanced problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExceptional communication skills, both verbal and writtenProven track record in production planning and schedulingExperience with supply chain management and inventory controlSolid understanding of manufacturing processes and technologiesDemonstrated ability to optimize production efficiencyLean Six Sigma certification preferredProficient time management and organizational skills
