Production Supervisor
Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesRole/Purpose:Supervise and Lead the Production Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Adhere to all Organizational Vision, Values, and Code of ConductRecruiting, training, and retention of a qualified and motivated teamContinual monitoring of processes and implement productivity improvementsEnsure adherence and improve quality using organization standards and guidelines..i.e. SOP's, ISO DocumentationRegulate item inventory and labor documentation. Monitor, analyze, correct, and track resultsProvide job expectations and training to staff: planning, monitoring, and appraising job outcomes, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees using organization policies and proceduresEnsure production and customer demands are met by scheduling and assigning proper personnel; establish priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting the results of the processing flow on shift production summaries dailyPurchase or request tooling, supplies, or capital equipment necessary to perform tasksMonitor time, attendance, vacations, team punctuality and labor tracking to control labor costsEnsure all safety policies, procedures and training is strictly enforcedChampion and enforce 5s and Lean Management ProgramsTimely communication with all departments to maintain order flowUse TPM to minimize downtime on all machinery and equipmentOther duties and tasks as assigned
What You Need to SucceedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Proficient blueprint knowledgeStrong mechanical, machine shop and welding knowledgeStrong problem solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environmentFamiliar with stainless steel and plastics manufacturing equipment and processes High energy and organizational skillsAbility to safely lift 50 lbs. and work in multiple positions (i.e. stand, sit, lay, squat, bend, kneel) for prolonged periods of timeProficient using Microsoft Office SuiteReport Writing and Documentation using Office SuiteThis position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.

**OVERTIME MAY BE REQUIRED BASED ON BUSINESS NEEDS.**


Minimum Education / Experience Required:Bachelor’s or Technical degree (preferred) or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 3- 5 years of Machine Shop/Welding environment or Production Department Supervision ExperienceDocumented Lean Training or Certification (preferred) or equivalent work experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment                                        and/or
