(Day shift 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m./Night Shift 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.) The position involves supervising and developing multiple direct reports in all production disciplines to ensure company objectives are met and company policies are followed. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Prioritize, direct, and guide production management/activities of the shift + Manage the shift towards meeting company goals + Training and development of all production associates + Administrative duties including daily reports + Performance and disciplinary action management + Employee Relations responsibilities partnering with HR + Safety - incident reporting, accident investigation, etc **.** **Qualifications** + B.S. in Manufacturing/Operations/Engineering/Distribution or related field preferred or 1-3 years supervisory experience in Operations/Manufacturing/Distribution/Engineering + Must provide leadership and guidance for hourly production staff + Prioritize issues and assign appropriate resources for resolution + Work to maintain production schedule + Accurately complete all daily reports and paperwork + Maintain safety and 5S standards for a clean work environment + Able to multiple task, self-starter and motivated for change and improvement + Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills **Working Conditions** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to work overtime and weekends as well as some irregular hours.
