As a Production Supervisor 2nd shift with Trane Technologies, you will use your passion for quality and cost effectiveness in manufacturing to help lead our team in La Crosse, WI. You will monitor and coordinate the daily operation of a high-volume, lean manufacturing environment, and partner with other department leads/supervisors to achieve team and plant goals.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as full-time, On-Site at our La Crosse, Wi facility working hours of 4pm-2:30am Monday-Thursday and rotating Fridays. This role is considered safety-sensitive.
What you will do:
Responsible for overall performance of the team, focusing on safety, quality, cost, time, and output.Supervise materials usage to ensure a smooth production flow.Support ongoing plant programs and goals by identifying opportunities for process improvements.Collaborate with other department supervisors/leaders in Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.Regularly communicate goals and plant-wide initiatives with the leadership team and all members.Engage in training, development, and fostering positive employee relations.The skills you will need to be successful from day one (with functional examples) include the below:ADAPTABILITY: Managing conflicting demands, shifting priorities based on production needs, and adjusting plans to maintain efficiency and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.COACHING: Providing guidance and feedback to production associates, helping them improve performance through training and development initiatives and having performance improvement conversations.COMMUNICATION: Communicating updates, ensuring smooth production operations, and serving as a link between leadership and production teams for critical decision-making.CRITICAL THINKING: Evaluating alternative solutions during process improvements and solving production-related problems to enhance efficiency.INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Collaborating with various department supervisors, resolving team conflicts, and maintaining effective working relationships within the plant.LEADERSHIP: Guiding teams in achieving production goals, implementing plant-wide communication, and motivating teams to adhere to safety, quality, and cost targets.PROBLEM SOLVING: Identifying production-related issues and implementing process improvements to ensure consistent output quality and adherence to safety regulations; supporting plant goals such as units per man hour, safety and 5S, TAKT attainment, and cost as measured by overall plant performance.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $63,500-90,000/annually
