Corteva has an exciting opportunity for a Production Specialist to join our team at our Chatham, Ontario Canada facility!

What You’ll Do:

Perform a variety of tasks associated with field activities that will evolve with each season throughout the yearProvide support and guidance to 3rd party contract conditionersMonitor grower bins and classify based on quality dataComplete data entry as requiredPrepare required documentation for sample processing and shippingField Mapping support for multiple crops and production areasGenerate and monitor P.O.’s for 3rd party contract conditioners and provide support with packaging and labeling requirementsPerform administrative procedures, along with all procedures associated with field activitiesField responsibilities may include assisting growers with planting, IPM, detasseling coordination, and harvest troubleshootingAbility to help train a diverse group of growers and employees on seed field processes and expectationsInvolved in the analysis of data collected from digital agronomy tools and strategies

Education:

High School Diploma/GEDTwo-Year agricultural diploma or related field of study is highly preferred.

What Makes You Stand Out:

Two-Year Technical or Associates Degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related fieldYou have one (1) year of education and/or experience in operations, manufacturing, agriculture, or related industryGeneral knowledge and/or experience with field and/or agriculture equipment (plows, tractors, forklifts, etc.)
