**Production Specialist**
**Location: Tonganoxie, KS**
**Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM**
**As a** **Production Specialist at our Brand New (Premix) Animal Nutrition and Health location in Tonganoxie, KS** , you will support business objectives of the premix facility by performing a variety of functions in accordance with TTH procedures. You will also provide essential support to the functional disciplines of manufacturing including production, quality, maintenance, shipping & receiving, and administration. Along with that, you will also maintain, generate, and distribute documentation associated with functional areas of production, distribution, financial and administration. This role is in a manufacturing environment where product quality, traceability and integrity are of utmost importance.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage front desk operations, including visitor check-in and providing required PPE for facility access. (Everything from ordering lunch to office supplies)
+ Schedule and coordinate site programs and events, including New Hire Onboarding, annual trainings, Lunch & Learns, employee engagement activities, and other assigned events.
+ Serve as the first point of contact for employees with basic inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and the HR Wave page.
+ Maintain and update internal communications via TV monitors and bulletin boards, including training schedules, promotions, certifications, new hires, anniversaries, birthdays, and recognition initiatives.
+ Support manufacturing through project coordination, audits, KPI reporting, and billing/invoice processing.
+ Order and maintain office supplies through Ariba, conducting regular inventory checks to ensure adequate stock.
+ Provide SAP operational support.
+ Receive, accurately code, and process invoices for payment; maintain accounts payable records; manage vendor relationships to ensure timely payments; and coordinate use of the DSM Pro-card.

**Occasional OT will be required**
**You bring:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ 1 - 3 years' experience in production planning or a similar role. SAP and or production software experience a plus.
+ Must demonstrate ability to work with minimal direction. Strong or organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Requires a broad range of office and technical skills related to a manufacturing environment, with specific knowledge of specialized software programs such as SAP, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and Ariba. Requires strong demonstration of multi-tasking and prioritization capabilities.
+ Independent thinker with strengths in problem solving, trouble shooting and attention to detail based on set parameters.
