For more information, visit www.pepsico.com Responsibilities To ensure the right product quality in the market & that all production mechanical equipment is in the right condition so as to meet the good manufacturing practices and specifications To ensure people safety & compliance with H&S and GEHSMS standards To ensure the efficient and effective conversion of the credited raw materials to finished products, tracks key performance indicators/costs, anticipating and correcting trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets To monitor and lead good Quality Assurance, GMP, HACCP, Allergen, sanitation and housekeeping practices. He or she will ensure the hourly team clearly understands Quality requirements and takes appropriate action for Q.A. decisions To develop people and build talents (formal trainings, performance meetings, appraisals, coaching, motivation) so that they will be capable of producing the best product, in every bag and every bite & meet all the agreed KPI’s and human resources targets To supervise production and packaging direct labor, to oversee and assure facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime and confront all the possible fluctuations, serve as a liaison with other teams in co-ordinating workflows within the plant so as to ensure that the daily production schedule will be attained To give solutions, provide help and handle rising direct labor requests about whatever might cause a problem To identify opportunities for optimising production cost and optimising the existing processes To support the new production projects through organize, ng production trials, writing operation manuals, training people and propose ideas for continuous improvement In charge of scheduling the direct labor requirements on a shift, daily and weekly basis according to the sales demand and also provide the essential flexibility for last minute schedule changes and filling in the appropriate data form about personnel’s presences and/or absences on a shift basis To communicate all the production info & reports to all the other departments of the company Continuous Improve Performance through deployment of Starfleet Expert, SET, Kaizen Leader & Site Lean Expert Roles:Make sure that Critical Control Processes are in place and operating, implement Starfleet best practices,deliver technical training,conduct IPS internal and external auditing,maintain GPS control standards,participate in Starfleet strike visits teams & Kaizen Events Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering/food science or equivalent Min. 2 years of experience in similar roles (operations, food industries) Computer proficiency (Excel-Word-PowerPoint), SAP Knowledge desirable Language skills: Good level of English, proficient level of local language Results orientated & decision maker Developing and managing own agenda Demonstrated front-line supervisory skills Project management skills
