Job Summary:
This role is accountable for converting the Supply Planning Production Forecast into executable mid- and short-term production schedules across multiple operations sites. It ensures alignment between forecasted demand, available capacity, and material readiness, driving on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. This position coordinates the creation of weekly/daily constrained production schedules to meet customer demand and Supply Chain business objectives. Works cross-functionally with Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP)/Supply Planning teammates, Materials, Operations, Logistics, Customer Care, Sales, R&D, and Merchandising.Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and manage Production Coordinators/Schedulers for multiple operations sites.Integrate Supply Planning Production Forecast, past due orders, open orders (backlog), production capacity, and production performance into weekly production schedules.Drive on time shipping to original customer-promised ship date through proper planning and scheduling.Manage efficient lead times from order acknowledgment to shipment from operations plant.Communicate daily with ITP/Supply Planning, Operations, and other Supply Chain partners to identify capacity, materials, logistics, or other supply chain constraints in a 3-12 month window. Propose and implement solutions to achieve business objectives despite these constraints.Maintain ITP/Supply Planning systems to achieve Supply Planning Forecast and Supply Chain business objectives.Maintain and report on critical Scheduling metrics. Identify and/or escalate issues proactively. Propose and execute solutions.When applicable, identify, recommend, and drive production and maintenance of prebuilt components or finished goods. This may include order entry, inventory management, reporting, and coordination with cross-functional partners.SCOPE & IMPACT:Responsible for mid-term planning and near-term scheduling of multiple operations sites. This includes, but is not limited to: people management, excellent cross-functional communication and coordination, system management, process improvement, and issue resolution. Scope may include both sub-component and finished good operations scheduling. Failure to plan and schedule properly can lead to negative Impact to both internal and external customers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field with 6-8 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent1 - 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.Strong Proficiency in MS Office.Experience leading teamsExperience with multi-site managementFluent in EnglishUp to 25% Travel Required.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: ASCM (APICS) or Equivalent CertificationOracle/JDE E1or related ERP system experiencePower BI or related BI system experienceSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
