Description:Join the Valley Forge Enterprise Planning team! We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our team. This is a business-critical role that engages cross-functionaly with Manufacturing Program Managers, Shop Management, and other teams to facilitate the successful execution of our program requirements. This role is responsible for reviewing production schedules, conducting analysis to assist with capacity planning across human and equipment resources, maintaining supplemental production schedules, and collaborating closelyt with cross-functional team members to achieve operational excellence. The successful applicant for this role must be comfortable working in several systems including Microsoft Project and Excel, Tableau, and SAP.
Responsibilities Include:
• Develops manufacturing production/development summary and detail schedules for Valley Forge products in SAP and Project systems.
• Provides delivery status support for production and integration and test, supporting Manufacturing Program Managers with various scheduling analyses.
• Supports release process for “make” assembly requirements and firm plans in COS ( Common Operating System SAP) as needed, works closely with Manufacturing Program Managers during release and throughout the program as schedule changes are needed.
• Takes an active role in continuously improving planning methods, processes and tools. Maintains data integrity within the SAP MRP system, facilitating regular reviews of material master data including In-house production times.
Basic Qualifications:
• In depth understanding of SAP MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system
• Mastery of production scheduling
• Experience in a manufacturing setting
• Degree or experience in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing/Production, Finance, or Project Management
• Above average Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookups, graph creation, managing large sets of data)
• This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration
Desired Skills:
• MS Project experience preferred
• PowerPoint presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
