Key responsibilities

In this position, you will manage central planning processes and ensure that our production runs on time, efficiently, and smoothly. You will work closely with specialist departments and partner factories and contribute your ideas to the further development of our logistics and inventory strategies. Look forward to a diverse range of tasks with a tangible impact on our supply chain – and the opportunity to make a real difference.

The work model for the role is: hybrid (#LI-Hybrid)

You will be mainly accountable for:

Production planning across various production stages in SAP, taking into account costs, customer deadlines, capacities, and suppliers

Coordination of capacities with other specialist departments and ABB partner factories

Contact person for order processing in the control centers to ensure the production process

Support in the implementation of new planning and production tools

Identification and maintenance of batch sizes and scheduling procedures, taking business factors into account

Monitoring and optimizing inventories, taking ROTD into account

Development of logistics concepts and implementation of projects for process improvement and control of product launches and discontinuations

Qualifications for the role

Completed studies in supply chain management, production management, or similar, alternatively, a completed apprenticeship in a relevant field including relevant further training

Experience in production planning and control, ideally in an SAP-controlled environment

Understanding of logistical interrelationships and business KPIs

Analytical thinking skills and interest in optimizing processes and inventories.

Independent, structured working style and ability to collaborate across departments and coordinate with external partners

Fluent written and spoken German and English
