Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Production Scheduler. This role will take place at our facility in Cleveland, TN.
As representative of a plant within the designated IBP network, the Production Scheduler has the responsibility to facilitate seamless execution and adhering to planned volumes and dates for that plant's performance across core business objectives such as inventory, cost and customer satisfaction. The Production Scheduler's focus lies on managing the short-term frozen horizon for that plant. As a key focal point towards meeting customer expectations on-time, the Production Scheduler must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills through effective communication and coordination with multiple functional groups (including Operation, Customer Service, Finance, and Purchasing).
The expected annual salary range for this role is $67500.0 - $99000.0 a year.

**What you’ll do:**
+ Relying upon the network master production schedule (MPS), coordinate the level-loading of daily production schedules through analyzing resource capacity and other constraints to optimize throughput, while minimizing manufacturing cycle time, inventory, and achieving on-time delivery expectations.
+ Aligns and sets priorities for resources and shared resources across the plant which will maximize efficient and material flow to ensure customer orders ship on-time; when constrained, work to re-sequence and/or re-route production orders to minimize deviation from the master production schedule (MPS).
+ Directs daily workflow (WIP – Work-In-Process) through analysis of reporting and input from key internal and external stakeholders.
+ Together with the network scheduler, “own” the integrity of the production schedule and the corresponding materials requirements plan (MRP); effectively work with key internal functional support teams (including purchasing, engineering, and others) to ensure that the ERP system is kept up to date with critical information points; partner with these same communities on appropriate alternatives and options to close gaps to already-established customer commitments.
+ Leveraging the network supply chain S&OE approach, effectively collaborate and escalate across the supply chain network on key aspects which are critical to meeting the master production schedule (MPS) outcomes.
+ Relying on an approach rooted in continuous improvement (CI) and affiliated toolsets, assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques which will improve the scheduling function.
+ All other duties, as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
**Required (Basic) Qualification:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business from an accredited institution.
+ At least 1 year of experience in Planning or Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficient in use of MS Office applications, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
+ Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.
+ No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Only candidates that reside within a 50-mile radius of Cleveland, TN will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ APICS CPIM certification
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
+ Prior experience with Mapics, Vista, and SAP
+ Prior manufacturing / plant experience
+ Prior direct experience in SIOP, MPS and plant scheduling processes
+ Demonstrated understanding of tangent processes impacting the responsibilities of this role: SIOP, inventory management, scheduling, capacity planning, & materials replenishment

+ Strong analytical skills; ability to mine data to draw meaningful conclusions and guidance for decision-making.
+ Collaborative, team-oriented attitude geared towards supporting Eaton’s “The Power of One” culture.
+ Communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with the ability to make necessary status updates and report-outs to division management.
