Production Representative Growers

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that all activities, ranging from planning, sowing, transplanting, pruning, hybridization, harvesting, etc., are carried out according to company standards.Follow up on compliance with activities defined in the Grower-Production Site contract for the proper development of our products, respecting legal aspects, quality and safety.Constantly visit the growers' fields to ensure the correct development of the crops, acting as a link between the grower and the production site to facilitate field activities.Link with the planning area for tracking each material to be cultivated, giving visibility to growers so they can manage their time optimally.Schedule field trips to visit crops is established in the 3PG system to ensure excellent crop development and determine management and improvement requirements.Guide and supports the grower on healthy crop management, ensuring pest and disease control, balanced plants through pruning, tutoring, and cleaning, and identifying improvements and nutritional opportunities.Seek out new areas of opportunity for the 3PG program, including new growers or prospects, growing areas, geographic zones of interest, and optimal production windows.Conduct ongoing training for prospects and growers who require further development in crop management, pollination, proper pollen management, optimal harvest control, and best practices in seed extraction and handling, among others.Guide the growers about the use of tools and equipment that can help improve the activities required throughout the production cycle.Participate alongside other areas such as nutrition, disease control, research, (Growers Community) and others in implementing strategies to improve the yield and quality of pepper and cucumber seeds.Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and estimates, gather information on planting, transplanting, pruning management, hybridization, harvesting, quality results, etc., for analysis and use in process improvement.Keep internal and global platforms up to date on production progress.Ensure that estimates, field visits, field grading, and planting dates are sent to the Velocity platform via the SCOUT app.Be able to present and share crop status through virtual tours or monthly meetings with production stakeholders.Ensure that the process of setting and monitoring goals and business development follows Bayer system guidelines.Act with a business owner mindset and promote empowerment and accountability for the agricultural team.Take the initiative to connect with agriculture, operations, and training teams to successfully remove obstacles and minimize any negative impact on production results.Maintain a customer-centric mindset as an influence on the rest of the organization.Participate in the development of ideas, projects, or innovations for optimizing farming activities.Be part of the DSO goals in 90-day cycles for problem resolution.Flexibility to support in different areas of farming.
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agronomy, or any related careers.At least 3 years of experience in agriculture, agronomy or related fields. Or a high school diploma with at least 8 years of experience.Experienced with Microsoft Office and business IT systems.Basic - Intermediate English proficiency.Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons or when business needs require it.Excellent results orientation and planning skills. Strong independent thinkers who communicate decisions clearly and effectively at all levels.Demonstrates urgency and commitment, persistent in overcoming challenges.Seeks improvement opportunities and adapts to business needs.Communication Skills: Proficient in oral, written, and presentation communication.Upholds company values, treating others with respect and fairness.Ability to enhance a psychologically safe environment to allow innovation and continuously develop business solutions.Demonstrate high self-awareness & proactively ask for and give feedback.Valid driver’s license.Define and deliver the highest pipeline, team, talent, and organizational impact outcomes.Collaborate and hold each other accountable in and across teams.Be close to the customer and co-create solutions for their needs.Work in 90-day cycles, apply learnings fast, and continually develop.Create impact by realizing authentic self and purpose and including others.
