Team overview
We are looking for a Production Programmer to join our Manufacturing Team. Based in Heredia -Costa Rica, the candidate will be responsible for Scheduling and controlling production, optimizing the resources available at the Plant to the maximum, in order to guarantee compliance with the Production Plan in terms of time and delivery of lines to achieve the main KPI’s. Analyzing the actual and future Plant Capacity in order to coordinate with the production area the human capital resource required to operate each machine.
Job responsibilities
Knowledge and application of requirements related to the scheduling process to achieve the volume define in the SOP process.
Knowledge, compliance, awareness, and collaboration with QSHE to comply with safety programs, values and indicators, awareness of environmental aspects and impacts.
Ensure compliance with the established security requirements. As well as the established Safety Training Plan.
Prepare the sequence of the weekly production plan using the methodology of systems such as Pull Kanban, Level Loading and Continuous Flow Process.
Coordinate with maintenance the equipment that will be delivered to preventive to contribute to reduce breakdown in specifics machine according to Monthly Preventive Schedule.
Daily coordination with the production supervisors to define the priorities of the process and the correct sequence to follow up.
Monitoring and controlling the Clip Index (area KPI) in a weekly basis.
Who are we looking for?
Professional in Production Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or years’ experience relative.
For hiring, desirable, at least +2 years of previous experience in related manufacturing environment.
Basic English Knowledge.
Competences: Critical thinking, problem analysis, decision making, results oriented and negotiating.
Knowledge of computer tools such as Excel, Power BI, etc.
Knowledge of quality norms and standards (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.).
