This Position reports to:

Planning & Fulfillment Manager

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate constrained engineering and production plan, material plan, and Work-In-Progress (WIP) inventory rationalization, including Sales in Excess (SIE) of invoicing to improve service levels.

Each day, you will assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating constrained engineering (for Engineered-To-Order businesses) and production plan, use rough-cut and detailed capacity planning, and link it to the demand plan. You will also showcase your expertise by optimizing working capital.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Creation of short- and medium-term production plans for FG/semi-FGSupervising and reporting on the execution of the production planOrganisation of shipments and supervision of shipping documentationClose cooperation with other areas, in particular production, purchasing and customer serviceActive participation in the planning of development tools/processes in accordance with the Lean approachComprehensive order processing

Qualifications for the role

University degree, preferably with a technical profileMin. 2-3 years of work experience in a similar position, in the Production Planning departmentKnowledge of SAP (PP, MM, SD module) would be an advantageExperience in implementing Lean philosophy in the production planning areaKnowledge of planning strategies (MTO, MTS, ATO)Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS ExcelCommunicative knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)Highly developed analytical skills. Ability to work under time pressure and to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Communication skills and the ability to work in a team
