1. Journals Business Order Management- End to End
Order Management
Receive customer orders via email, letter, or phone and record in Excel.Generate support sheets and scan physical orders to maintain digital records.Enter orders in SFDC along with necessary supporting documents.Coordinate with GCF team for order fulfillment.Share subscription payment details with the Cash team for processing.Product Creation
Create Assembly/Component IDs for new journal issues in Product Master (PIM) / Propel.Structure recurring IDs for new journal releases.Record all journals purchase orders (POs) in the system to initiate batch flow upon receipt.Distribution
Manage timely dispatch of back issues via postal and courier services.Prepare customer labels for journal dispatches using Edmore RMS.Conduct final quality checks before dispatch.Prepare and maintain postal invoices on a scheduled basis (weekly, fortnightly, monthly).Track and update all dispatches (except ordinary post) in the dispatch tracker2. Inventory & Warehouse ManagementEnsure proper receipt and system entry of inward products.Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with ERP data.Manage inventory outbound in line with customer requirements and dispatch plans.Implement inventory control processes to reduce discrepancies and operational costs.Address and resolve warehouse-related escalations and discrepancies in order fulfillment.3. Operational Performance
Track and trace goods while they are enroute to their destinations, expediting orders when necessary.Resolve customer complaints or problems: Respond to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution servicesArrange for necessary shipping documentation and contact customs officials to effect release of shipments. Schedule shipment or material transportation.Coordinate operational activities with external stakeholders.Prepare warehouse operations briefs4.Vendor & Customer Management
Liaise with suppliers (printers, government offices, etc.) for coordination and operational updates.Manage the day-to-day supplier relationship with our 3rd party service provider (3PL) and distribution vendors.Work with Vendors, Fulfillment, Customer Service and Sales on monitoring logistics performance to maximize customer satisfaction.We are committed to providing a fair and accessible hiring process.
