**Position Summary:**
We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Production Planner** to support and drive our Materials Planning and SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) processes. In this key role, you'll help ensure seamless material flow, accurate demand forecasting, and on-time delivery—keeping production on track and customers satisfied. Working under general supervision, you'll contribute to data-driven planning, support strategic decision-making, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve shortages and optimize supply chain performance.
**What you will do:**
+ Support the execution of Materials Planning and SIOP activities to align supply with customer demand.
+ Create and manage part-level plans, including maintaining master data for purchased parts, sub-assemblies, and end items.
+ Analyze material availability and capacity constraints; escalate risks and drive resolution of long-term gaps.
+ Continuously manage and validate the master demand schedule to ensure accurate visibility for production, financial planning, and capacity management.
+ Monitor and coordinate transportation, inter/intraplant deliveries, and work-in-process (WIP) flow.
+ Expedite orders and mitigate shortages to support on-time delivery and production continuity.
+ Develop reports and dashboards to support planning decisions and track KPIs.
+ Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
**Qualifications we prefer:**
+ Experience in a manufacturing, production, or shop floor environment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); strong Excel skills preferred.
+ Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
+ Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
+ Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams and departments.
**Qualifications you must have:**
This position requires an HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.

The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
