Position Summary:
The Production Planner Level 3 is responsible for working in a safe manner, being a champion for safety, participating in safety events, developing and managing production schedules to meet customer demand, optimizing resource utilization, drive down delinquencies, and ensure timely delivery of products. This role involves close coordination with Planning, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams. This role will have responsibility over a specific product line within the organization and may support additional product lines as needed.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Works in a safe manner, championing safety, participating in safety events, identifying safety risks, submits safety concerns monthly to support organizations safety practices and goalsCompiles and records production data from such documents as customer orders, work orders, product specifications, and individual worker production sheetsCalculates factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, and frequency of defects.
