We are looking for an experienced Production Planner to join our team at GKN Automotive – a global leader in automotive technology, specializing in driveline systems and ePowertrain solutions. The person in this role will be responsible for planning and coordinating production processes, ensuring on-time customer order fulfillment and the efficient use of production resources. Key Responsibilities: + Develop short- and long-term production plans based on sales forecasts and customer orders. + Monitor the execution of production plans and implement necessary adjustments to ensure on-time deliveries. + Collaborate with the logistics, quality, and production departments to coordinate material and resource availability. + Analyze production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks in the manufacturing process. + Optimize production planning processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. + Maintain and update production planning data in the ERP system. Requirements: + Higher education in technical or economic fields. + At least 3 years of experience as a Production Planner, preferably in the automotive industry. + Knowledge of ERP systems, experience with QAD is an advantage. + Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. + Communicative level of English. + Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. + Excellent organizational and communication skills. + Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology will be an additional asset.
