What You Will Do:
Provides production floor support including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work in Progress (WIP) movement through shared resource areas, completion of units in shop floor and MRP system, delivery to next step (inventory or shipment), and meeting MRP scheduleMaintains integrity of the shop floorProcess piece part movement to support internal build requirements through subcontractors and internal resourcesRedirect and/or re-establish priorities, as required, in support of the Master ScheduleFacilitate expedited material of critical part shortages to released work ordersWhat You Will Bring:
BS degree and 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, production control, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, finance, and/or project management or associate's degree with 4 years of experience or equivalent experienceMRP KnowledgeExperience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing, etc.Experience utilizing lean manufacturing conceptsExperience with ERP Systems (preferably SAP)Pay Range: $60,000 - $67,000 a year
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Melbourne, FL
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
