**Job Description**

The production planner will work in the manufacturing area alongside the production/assembly team and use Netsuite to coordinate the planning and scheduling of production work orders released to the floor.
**Responsibilities**
+ Coordinate and schedule production work orders using Netsuite.
+ Collaborate with the production/assembly team of 10-15 people.
+ Support or get involved with physically pulling or kitting parts when needed.
+ Adapt to frequent changes in direction and perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience in planning and coordinating the release of work orders to the production floor.
+ Experience with Netsuite for reviewing and releasing work orders.
+ Recent experience in production planning for manufacturing.
+ Ability to work in a warm facility.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Knowledge or experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical assemblies or parts.
+ Experience supporting an industrial manufacturing environment with larger parts or equipment.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Excellent attention to detail, organization, analytical, and reasoning skills.
+ Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and follow instructions.
+ Comfortable with frequent changes and a dynamic work environment.
+ Familiarity with power tools, pipe fitting, hose assembly, and blueprint reading.

**Work Environment**
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with potential overtime and Saturday work. The facility is a combination of climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly areas, with climate-controlled offices and a break room. Note that the facility may be warm during summer months due to HVAC limitations. This is initially a 3-4 month project, with the potential for extension and possible conversion to full-time based on performance.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.
