Production Planner
Job Title: Manufacturing Planner
Job Description

As a Manufacturing Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that production plans are developed and executed efficiently. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with production control, procurement, and group leaders to align process steps with internal resources and subcontractors.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Production Control members and CNC Programmers to create and maintain routers.Review specifications to ensure compliance with drawings and clearly identify work instructions on routers.Identify process improvements and areas of risk within the manufacturing process.Manage production control and changes related to key processes throughout manufacturing.Essential SkillsExperience in a full-service manufacturing facility, including machining and special processes.Ability to read complex drawings and understand industry and customer specifications.Proven experience in manufacturing, planning, or supervising.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Vacuum & Dip Brazing, welding, and plating.Experience with ERP systems is preferred; familiarity with Epicor/Kinetic ERP is a plus.Work Environment

This position is based on-site at an ITAR facility in Hampstead, MD, within a machine shop setting that includes two 90,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plants. The company prides itself on a family-oriented atmosphere, with leadership that engages personally with employees. The facility has grown significantly, investing in state-of-the-art technology and employing over 180 staff members.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
