Temporary position$24.00 to $26.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday)Work with production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize capacityRelease production orders for Production to enable fulfillment of customer ordersEscalate sales orders that cannot be built to meet customer request dateCommunicate production requirementsTeam with Production and Purchasing groups to recognize capacity or critical material imbalances constraining factory productionCollaborate with Sales to understand customer requirements and ensure on-time deliveryForecast and plan capacity requirements to ensure alignment with OperationsWork under management guidance for projects requiring analysisPerform other duties as assignedProduction Planner Qualifications:
Experience in production planning, inventory management, or a similar rolePractical understanding of planning processes in a manufacturing environmentExperience with ERP systemsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingDemonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing demandsProficient in all Microsoft Office Suite softwareExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively within small and large, diverse teamsComfortable with fast-paced and dynamic work environmentBachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience2+ years manufacturing Production Planning experienceApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
