By aligning and streamlining our work, our Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) business unit aims to drive growth and innovation in everything from integrated sample management to diagnostic solutions. The Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) unit is currently seeking: The Production Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling requirements for production in support of the master schedule, forecast and special orders from the customers. Is also responsible to give priorities to production lines to avoid back orders, support new product transfers efficiently by attending meetings, keeping appropriate inventory levels, attend daily meetings with production supervisors or as required. **Job Description** The regular activities of the Production Planner are: + Communicate, identify and track Work Orders/Lots that fall into the category of TIB (Temporary In-Bound) + Determine schedule for production based on the master schedule. + Determine requirements for planning system (MRP). + Release work orders to support the production schedule daily. + Distribute production schedules to each production supervisor. + Maintain correct due dates for MRP. + Generate materials disbursements list (pick lists and routings). + The periodic activities of the Production Planner are: + Maintain required inventory levels. + Plan and control special orders. + The eventual activities of the Production Planner are: + Generate performance reports and charts (production performance). + Communicate and support all departments. + Support new product transfers. + Support CIP’s **Requirements** Education + University degree or equivalent in process. + Knowledge and Training + MRP, master scheduling, planning and Office software. + APICS Modules (Not mandatory but desired). Experience + 2 to 4 years of experience required. Skills + Good communication skills. + Dynamic, Positive attitude with good interpersonal organizational skills. + Proficient. + Ability to solve problems, responsibility, ability to work under pressure. + Able to communicate both verbally English and Spanish and writing in English (Not mandatory but desired) BD values equity in the workplace, without discrimination against any disability, social class, ethnicity, age, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
