Our automotive client in Shelby Twp is seeking a Production Part Approval Process Coordinator to join their team.
Job Title: Production Part Approval Process Coordinator (PPAP Coordinator)
Location: Shelby, Twp
Pay Range: $20-25
What’s the Job?
· Maintains PPAP and IMDS systems, completing all paperwork as required for tracking and timely submittal, and document control including distribution/removal of obsolete prints, forms and or work instructions.
· Participate in quality planning/manufacturing/engineering PPAP process reviews, as needed.
· Communicate professionally with peers and customers regarding PPAP and IMDS related issues.
· Able to interface with customer on APQP, process control plans, PFMEAs, MSA and SPC.
· Analyze and verify dimensional capability of products and processes (Includes suppliers)
· Comply with all company Procedures, Policies, Work Instructions, and IATF16949 requirements.
· Other duties as deemed necessary to meet the needs of the business
What’s Needed?
· Required: High school diploma or equivalent; plus 3+ years’ work experience within an automotive manufacturing industry.
· Able to read blueprints.
· Manufacturing Environment. Experience in Automotive industry (DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, MSA, SPC) preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to understand written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with all levels of peers, suppliers and customers is required.
· Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Email) Minitab & Adobe Acrobat and various software systems for logging and tracking results.
· Detailed oriented, strong time management and organizational skills, and collaborative mentality.
