Job Responsibilities:
General Job Duties:To exhibit an objective, fair and professional attitude that exemplifies the principles outlined in The Decoma Employee’s Charter to maintain a positive and productive workplace.To exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment.To demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.To follow Decostar policies and display conduct expected of Decostar employees as described in the employee handbook.To follow safety rules of Decostar and work in a manner that is conducive to maintaining a safe and healthful workplace.To report all accidents immediately.To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Decostar.To perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the department’s established procedures and work instructions.Specific Job Duties:Perform daily job assignments as required and per the department’s established procedures and work instructions or as identified by the Production Team Leader to ensure customer satisfaction.Participate in daily team meetings and offer ideas/suggestions that contribute to meeting the objectives of the department.Check parts for defects and non-conformance and report appropriately in accordance to the control plan and redirect to the appropriate area.Participate in daily team meetings and continuous improvement programs and activities and offer ideas and suggestions that contribute to meeting the objectives of the department.Ensure proper housekeeping and returning all tools, etc. to the proper storage areas at the end of the shift.Immediately report any accident, injury, potential incidences or any unsafe work conditions in the workplace.Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any malfunctioning equipment throughout the shift.Record and report all data required to maintain daily production records and submit the data for input into the Decostar data collection system.Perform other duties as assigned.Education:H.S.
