The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Production Associate II to work at our facility in Springfield, MO.  Ideal candidates must be motivated to work in a team-orientated, fast-paced environment.  This position requires individuals to perform duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.   
 

Minimum Qualifications 

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required Basic math, reading, and communication Ability to adjust to temperature changes (lower 40s to upper 90s); can be in hot/humid             or cool environment depending on assigned job tasks Prior manufacturing experience is preferred

Work Schedule: 

We are a 24/7 facility offering both 8-hour and 10-hour shifts as well as 12-hour rotating shifts.  Work schedule is dependent on position.

Job Responsibilities: 

Maintains proper line speeds. Reports and/or corrects unsafe acts or conditions. Maintains Kraft quality standards by checking quality of seals, code date, labels, packaging of product, weights, odor, color, temperature of product, etc. Record keeping as required on manual, computer, and other systems. Ensures that housekeeping and Kraft quality standards are maintained in the work area. Must be able to perform line production duties at each station. Performs a variety of maintenance-type functions such as change-overs, set-ups, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, etc. Relieves other personnel as needed. Understands and accepts Total Quality culture and is supportive of plant and departmental team goals and vision. Become active in SQDCM meetings. Conducts SQCDM meetings. Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in Quality Suite and OEE applications. Performs other duties as directed by the Line Leader. Performs sanitation duties as needed or requested.  Perform/Support TPM functions when required. Must attend daily Oscar meetings.  Performs variety of maintenance-type tasks such as change-overs, set-ups, pit stops, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, etc. Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc. Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Knowledge:  Basic math, reading and communication. Working Environment:  Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general production environment.  Subject to cooler temperatures inside the Filling room.

Qualifications:

Able to acquire Fork Truck License.

Physical Requirements: 

Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching to both ground level and overhead Lifts, carries, pushes, pulls; move up to 50 pounds Holds and grips objects; must possess manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment, disassemble, and reassemble equipment.

Plant Overview: 

Over 1,000 employees make up the team at the Springfield facility. A variety of cheese products (Sliced/Chunk/Shred), and pasta Mac & Cheese meals are produced at this location.
