Location/Division Specific Information
This is a permanent, full-time, onsite role, based at our Dalgleish Street site in Adelaide. It does not offer hybrid working and the role does have morning and afternoon shifts. Afternoon shifts – 2:30-11pm. Day shifts 06:30-2:36pm. The role is a 38hr week, working 7.6 hrs a day. Shift Allowances are paid in addition to the base salary.
About the Role:
As a member of the Production Team you will work to complete production activities and meet daily safety, production and quality targets enabling our customers to achieve their goals which include diagnosing illness, ensuring food safety and enabling positive outcomes for the environment.
What You'll Do:
Complete day-to-day production activities in conformance with specifications, standard operating procedures, and GMP and ISO principles.Participate in daily stand up meeting and raise issues as appropriatePerform in-process sampling and monitoring to assure batches meet specification. Complete production documentation – batch sheets, packing, cleaning and autoclave records ensuring that all information is accurate, legible and correct to guarantee traceability.Communicate production issues to Production Supervisor and/or Lead Operator as they arise.Contribute to the revision of manufacturing documentation including batch records and standard operating procedures (SOP’s).Assist with investigations, projects and validation as required.Participate in EHS system by adhering to policies and procedures and reporting of hazards and incidents to ensure a safe and healthy workplace environmentParticipates in continuous improvement activities (Root cause counter measure (RCCM) and "just do it" (JDIs)) as appropriate and suggest ideasPerform other related duties as required and/or assigned to contribute to the efficient operation of the team and business.Keys to Success:

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Experience in GMP manufacturing is desirableGood mechanical proficiency is desirable.Experience in working to a production schedule and managing time effectivelySelf-directive and proactiveAdaptable and flexible to changing demands and requirements.Disciplined, thorough and methodical mindsetMotivated to get the job doneExcellent communication skills - both written and verbalPhysical Requirements / Work Environment:
The role works in a controlled production environment. Is required to lift up to 20kg. May be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties. Must be able to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials. Able to work overtime and be flexible around hours of work.
