**Description** The purpose of the Production Operator is to oversee the production and packaging of construction materials. To monitor the machines for jams, clear jams when they occur and help to re-lace and restart the line as needed. Additionally, to do quality checks and First Article Inspections on the product including dimensions and appearance. **Shift Schedule (2-2-3):** Enjoy a consistent and balanced schedule: + Night Shift:6:00 PM – 6:00 AM - $28.88/hr + _Work 2 days, off 2 days, then work 3 days – repeat. Must be willing to work every other weekend._ **Job Summary:** You will be responsible for overseeing the packaging section of the production line. Your role is critical to ensuring smooth operations, maintaining product quality, and minimizing downtime. **Key Responsibilities:** + Monitor machines for jams and clear them promptly + Assist with re-lacing and restarting the line as needed + Perform First Article Inspections and quality checks for dimensions and appearance + Set up raw materials along the production line + Build and wrap pallets for finished goods + Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area + Support other departments as needed **Required Skills & Qualifications:** + Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment + Stable work history– _candidates with frequent job changes or unexplained gaps will not be contacted_ + Mechanically inclined with experience using basic hand tools + Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and standing for 90–95% of the time + Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) + Willingness to work overtime and every other weekend + Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills + Team player with the ability to work independently + Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40 lbs **Preferred Skills:** + Forklift operation + Machine operation and troubleshooting + Quality inspection experience **Please Note:** To maintain the high standards of our team, we will not be contacting applicants who do not meet the minimum experience requirement or who have a jumpy work history.
