Production Operator
**Job Summary:** + Responsible for operating all production equipment, managing scrap, and maintaining high productivity levels. + Employees sustain a positive team environment, a focus on Safety, Quality Assurance, and Efficiency. + Compensation: Wage: $24.00/hour + Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:00 pm) **Job Duties:** + Run efficient production lines, problem-solving to ensure products meet quality specifications, including checking product and equipment frequently, making immediate adjustments or changes to lines when needed. + Keep lines and production floor clean and free of debris and stocked for the incoming shift. + Consistently communicate problems or needs with the supervisor and assistant supervisor, and communicate with all team members. + Work closely with team members to be more efficient, troubleshooting problems and helping find new or better solutions, and ask for help when needed. + Participate in and promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement events and ideas. + One year of manufacturing experience preferred + Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are required + Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery and computer entry + Must be able to work day shifts and weekends At Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed, our employees have pride in belonging to an organization whose culture is made up of these core values: Trust, Empowerment, & Collaboration. Provided is the pay rate for this position, which is $24.00 per hour, plus first and second shift differentials of $0.60/hr and $0.70/hr. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of the hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and, by nature, can vary based on company and individual performance and are not a guarantee.
