Production Operator- 2nd Shift
**Position Summary:** Set up and operate T-Drill Flaring machine and Mig welder in the fabrication of pipe spools and stub ends. **Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to):** + Perform set ups on the T-Drill F200 and F400 pipe flaring machine to comply with the work order requirements. + Select and assemble the appropriate pipe and flange (s) to comply with the work order requirements. + Load the pipe or stub end into the T-Drill and run the flaring cycle in accordance with the manufacturing procedures. + Unload pipe from the T-Drill and apply weld button (s) with MIG welder. Drill/ deburr vent hole in accordance with manufacturing and customer supplied specifications. + Mark identification information and attach labels to the pipe as required by the manufacturing procedures and customer supplied specifications. + Perform the maintenance on the F200 T-Drill and the F400 T-Drill that has been assigned to the operator on the required schedule. **Essential Qualifications / Experience:** + High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. + Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance, any parts weighing over 50lbs requires a team lift. + Blueprint reading skills to interpret engineering drawings and customer supplied specifications. + Ability to inspect components and the flared pipe in accordance with the manufacturing procedures throughout the assembly process with measuring instruments, not limited to, but including tape measure, micrometres, and callipers. + Ability to perform material handling functions within the work area using cranes, hand trucks, and forklifts. _This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
