What You will Do:

Attend department meetings, manage actions and conduct follow-up with ownersAttending meetings with customers and providing delivery status and commitmentsIdentify long lead parts such as castings, bearings, gears, etc. and gather historical lead time data ensuring orders are released in a timely fashion.Work with internal customers such as engineering, Quality, shop floor, shipping and receiving, and other departments.Contribute to the creation and maintenance of manufacturing plans as well as hold assembly readiness meetingsOccasionally work with external suppliers to follow up on lead times, schedule and ship dates.Work with shop floor operations supporting personnel to provide prioritiesProvide status updates to the Program Managers and Value Stream Leaders and also update external customers

Work Experience

How You Will Get Here:

Minimum AS degree with production 4-6 years of operations/manufacturing support experience BS/BA degree with 2-4 years’ experience preferred or in lieu of degree10 years of relative experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office tools are requiredExperience with SAP, or other MRP system, strongly preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints a plusStrong oral and written communication, teamwork, self-motivation, and organizational skills required

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Mostly Office Environments. Occasional Shop Floor involvementSubstantial amounts of telephone and computer work. Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PMAbility to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a U.S. Citizen
