Production Member / Metal Fabricator

 

Are you a skilled fabricator looking to join a market leader in entrance solutions?

 

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking an experienced and motivated tradesperson to join our Manufacturing team, specialising in the fabrication of high-quality Revolving Doors.  This hands-on role involves the end-to-end manufacturing process, with occasional site installations as needed. You will be part of a supportive team that values craftsmanship, safety, and continuous improvement.

 

About the Role

Reporting to the Projects Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

Fabrication and assembly of revolving doors from start to finish Cutting and preparing steel and aluminium components to specification Operating and maintaining machinery and manufacturing equipment Monitoring product quality and identifying any faults Supporting occasional deliveries or collections of parts and completed units

 

What We’re Looking For

Trade qualification in metalwork or a related field (highly regarded) Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work with precision A current manual Australian driver’s licence (essential) Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential) A proactive, team-focused attitude with a commitment to safety and quality
