Job Summary As a Production Supervisor at Fresh & Ready Foods, you’ll lead daily food production operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety. You’ll ensure that all food products are assembled accurately and on time, while maintaining high standards for sanitation and compliance with federal and state regulations. This role is essential to meeting our production goals and delivering exceptional products to our customers. Key Responsibilities + Oversee daily operations of the Production Department + Plan and enforce employee work schedules + Maintain accurate records for food production, meal counts, and personnel + Ensure compliance with sanitation procedures and food safety standards + Supervise food service employees including line workers, runners, machine operators, and supervisors + Manage cleanliness and maintenance of production equipment + Assign equipment to trained staff and ensure proper usage + Interview, hire, and train production staff + Oversee cleaning of food prep areas, utensils, and equipment + Ensure compliance with state and federal labor and food safety regulations + Direct staging and assembly of food items + Monitor food presentation and proper storage/rotation of frozen items + Enforce FIFO inventory practices and GMP/SOP compliance + Manage preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep + Verify scale measurements, product labeling, and lot code accuracy + Monitor food quality and quantity throughout production + Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities + Maintain and update documentation and electronic records + Respond to staff and management inquiries in a timely and professional manner + Promote a clean, safe, and confidential work environment + Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills + Maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced setting + Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations Special Assignments + Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management or the executive team Associates at Fresh & Ready Foods are offered many fantastic benefits.
