**Job Description**

Our Milpitas facility is a center of excellence for advanced microelectronics assembly, supporting mission-critical applications with precision and quality.
**Job Summary:**
The Production Manager will be responsible for leading the production teams to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and timely manufacturing of a wide range of products in a high-mix, low-volume environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing operations and possess the ability to adapt to varying customer requirements and changing production demands. This role will involve managing workflows, quality control, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with cross-functional teams.
**Description of Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Selects, trains, develops, empowers and mentors team members. Provides leadership, coaching, and individual development planning for the Production team. Proactively support team performance and drive accountability for assigned job responsibilities, documentation, and in-process inspection ensuring a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
+ Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
+ Oversee production ensuring goals are met in terms of cost, quality, and delivery timelines in a high-mix, low-volume setting.
+ Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste, downtime, and costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
+ Manage production schedules, ensuring resource availability, and timely delivery of product. Adjust plans as needed based on shifting priorities and customer requirements.
+ Work with quality control teams to ensure adherence to customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively.
+ Lead and participate regular production meetings and cross functional discussions related to safety, quality and delivery.
+ Provide regular updates to senior management on production performance, KPIs, and any issues that could impact delivery or quality.
+ Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all production processes.
+ Ensure up-time and availability of all facilities and process equipment.
+ Work with Quality Assurance personnel to assist in AS9100 and other audits.
+ Ensure accurate Data collection and entry into the ERP) system.
+ Recommend equipment upgrades, staffing adjustments, process changes and modifications.
+ Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Position requires English reading and speaking skills including report writing and presentation skills. Must be able to write, read and understand process documents in english.
+ Strong attention to detail and analytics that translate into the ability to not only present data, but also advise on process improvement based on the data.
+ Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
+ Ability to become proficient in all aspects of the semiconductor assembly and test processes.
+ High level of teamwork and cooperation.
+ Requires a high level of self-initiative, desire to learn and be effective.
+ Ability to use manufacturing process equipment, PC and peripherals (printer, scanner), basic hand tools, cleaning supplies and equipment.
+ Ability to communicate across multiple departments and levels of business from executives and engineers to production leaders and operators.
+ Ability to work in a multitasking environment and to adjust to rapidly shifting priorities.
+ Highly organized and capable of handling multiple tasks and priorities.
+ Strong computer knowledge especially with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
+ Safety first mindset where requirements will be strictly followed and promoted at all times
+ Must be flexible with scheduling. There will be business needs that dictate some shift changes and overtime.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical discipline and 3-5 years of production management experience or 10+ years of progressive production management roles.
+ Minimum 5 years of semiconductor industry or similar technology-based manufacturing operations experience preferred.
+ Experience in quality management systems structure, problem solving tools, and requirements.
+ In depth knowledge of AS9100 and significant experience within aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
+ U.S. citizenship required due to ITAR regulations.
**Salary Range:**
$96,200.00-$128,300.000
