Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize operations in our print manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for managing production processes, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of print production and a passion for process improvement.

Direct Hire Opportunity.1st shift but must be flexible pending on business needs.Monday to Friday with weekends as needed.Pay rate: $75-80k/yr.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring quality and efficiency.Provide input to pre-production planning on job scope, costs, and timelines.Drive continuous improvement initiatives including waste reduction and workflow optimization.Monitor and troubleshoot production runs to address and prevent issues.Evaluate operator performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.Champion safety practices; investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.Coordinate training to meet production demands and enhance workforce capabilities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Safety, and Maintenance.Obtain funding for and oversee strategic and maintenance-related capital projects.Stay current with industry trends and machinery to ensure competitiveness.


Work Experience

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of print production management experience.Expertise in printing processes including roll/sheet fed, flexographic, and digital.Solid knowledge of bindery, web lamination, and label manufacturing.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.Experience supervising and motivating a diverse team.Pre-production planning experience is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field.
