Level Description
‘Management’ Leveling Guide consists of jobs with the responsibility, accountability, and decision-making authority to develop and implement strategies, initiatives, policies, and programs. The labels of Supervisor, Manager, Director, etc., are not limited to a distinct level (i.e., not all Senior Managers are level XX)– these are rough guidelines/indicators and not strictly assigned to a level. 

Market Summary
Assists with planning and directing the layout of equipment. Ensures production follows appropriate workflow and assembly methods. Hires, schedules and trains production staff.

Impact
• Leads a department or a small-sized organization within a region / global division, which may include a limited number of teams led by other middle management positions.
• Establishes and implements mid to long-term (3-5 years) strategies that have measurable impact on the achievement of business results within the context of the overall regional / divisional business strategy.

Communication
• Responsible for identifying, building and managing long-term key client relationships.
• Leads negotiations on issues that have a high impact on the function or on business results.

Innovation
• Analyzes and resolves numerous and undefined complex problems requiring innovative solutions that add value and consider possible impact on operational, financial and human dimensions of the business.
• Problems typically involve consideration of multiple sites, geographies, products or customers and are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues.

Knowledge
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a senior managerial role.
• Extensive professional experience (approximately 8-10 years), including substantial managerial experience as well as in-depth knowledge of the market and competitors.
