About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to join our dynamic team within the bakery division of an established FMCG company based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on production leadership experience, extensive knowledge in bakery manufacturing, and a strong understanding of UAE-based FMCG operations and compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage day-to-day bakery production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards. Plan and coordinate production schedules, workforce allocation, and inventory management to ensure timely delivery deadlines are met. Implement and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and other food safety standards. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and internal quality control systems. Lead and mentor a cross-functional production team to enhance productivity and morale. Analyse production data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Liaise with procurement, logistics, maintenance, and QA teams to streamline production flow. Manage operational costs and optimise resources to meet performance and budgetary targets.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 6–7 years of production management experience, with a minimum of 4 years in the FMCG industry within the UAE (Bakery/Food Manufacturing is a must). Strong knowledge of food production machinery, raw material handling, and packaging operations. Proven leadership with the ability to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of local labour laws, HSE, and sustainability practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP or similar).
